Alex Knudsen

Alex Knudsen founded Gantry Production in 2006 with the company’s first feature film “End of the Road”. Alex and DP Saxon Moen decided to take on the challenge of shooting their first feature under the infamous Dogme95 principles founded by a collection of Danish filmmakers, led by Internationally renowned director Lars von Trier. The manifesto was established as a means of making films completely stripped down, with no special effects or gimmicks of any kind. This meant no lights, all handheld camerawork and all location shooting amongst seven other rules that defined the purity of filmmaking. From this moment on, Knudsen set out to create truly original, challenging and personal works that he hoped would “stay with viewers for much longer than just the running time of the film”.

Born and raised in the harsh winters of Minnesota, Knudsen moved to Los Angeles at the age of 23 to finish his schooling at USC. After writing and directing a number of short films, music videos and his first feature, Knudsen garnered International praise for his second feature film, “Autopilot”, featuring Shannon Lucio (“Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D.”, “True Blood, “The O.C.”), Charlie Hofheimer (“Mad Men”, “Black Hawk Down”, “Music of the Heart”) and Emmy Nominated actor Gregory Itzin (“24”, “Lincoln”, “The Ides of March”), being nominated for ‘Best Feature Film’ at two International Film Festivals. Alex is currently wrapping up writing a feature film trilogy and pre-production on the short film “Consuming Beauty”.

Charlotte Zang

From the moment her mother started reading her bedtime stories Charlotte has cherished literature.  The first stories she was introduced to were Fairy Tales, and not the ones you find animated by Disney.  Her Fairy Tales were dark and perilous, they enveloped her in mystery and intrigue and beauty.  It wasn't until she was introduced to writers like Terry Pratchett, Christopher Moore that she truly pursued the notion of writing something herself.  But the author who truly inspired her to put pen to paper was  Neil Gaiman.

Thanks to one oddly placed door in a friend's basment, her first novel sprang to life.  Satan's in Your Kitchen was slow going while she pursued her master's degree at Columbia.  Once published, the novel was the greatest and only inspiration she needed. Since then she has worked on many small stories and Consuming Beauty became her goal for a second novel.

Consuming Beauty strays far from the path her first novel took, but the lust for writing remains hidden in her words.

Shannon Lucio

Shortly thereafter, she landed her breakout role on Fox's “The O.C.”  Most recently, she collaborated with Joss Whedon on ABC's and Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."  Past notable credits include "Fireflies in the Garden," with Julia Roberts and Ryan Reynolds, "Feast of Love," directed by Robert Benton, and recurring arcs on "True Blood," "Prison Break," and "Grey's Anatomy."
